Really interesting! The thing that strikes me so much about this......I don't know....it's such a subliminal feeling I can't quite get my head around it. It's similar to the feeling the paintings of Rothko give off (if you happen to be familiar with him) Maybe it's the light....well, anyway, it's very elegant and exquisite. Lovely lovely!

thank you for the thoughtful comment

yeah... i know Rothko. maybe it is the light that you find similarity in. anyway, i actually think Motts (the photographer of the pic i used for reference) deserves most of the credit on whatever success might be found in my painting. he's got a good eye.

oh - i don't know. i always have a hard time pricing stuff. different prices for different ones. but "aperature" would probably be about $250. i'm gonna make most of my stuff available as prints pretty soon, though... i've just been a bit lazy lately.

you can have a print right now... ya know - to hold you over. you'd be the very first person to buy a print of mine. i'd be so excited that i'd probably even pee a little.

hey... i was thinkin'. well, "aperature" was done on canvas pad as sort of a quickie, actually. canvas pad (in case you don't know) is just a pad of canvas sheets. it's like a sketchbook except with canvas. so it isn't all that high of a quality in terms of what i did it on. and it really didn't take that long to do. so... howabout you let me know when you've got $100 free and i'll just sell it to ya for that? how does that grab ya?
