The movie really gave short shrift to Richard's deeds in the Holy Land. The epilogue just said he failed, but it didn't mention that every battle that Richard never lost a battle to Saladin, and that Richard's name was used by Arab mothers to quiet rowdy children. Sigh. At least they put him there, in the movie. Oh yeah; Richard and Balian hated each other.

richard is very cool, he may be only for 1 minute the film, but still he's cool.
