thank you so much for replying and with the lovey link you gave sorry I haven't replied on the same strand but I wanted to keep the link handy in my mail box where I can find it with ease. I have checked out the site and I can't wate to give it a go (I will be of tomorrow to bye some embroidery string and give it a go thank you so much for the link I have wanted to make a friendship bracelet for ages as I keep buying them for my friends but never learnt how to make them which would be more special
