As I ran down the hall a second giant hand reached in to cut me off. I spotted a door to my left and ran towards it. I smashed my hand down on what I hoped was the open button and tensed to jump through the door when it opened.
"No!" cried Kay. "You don't know how to use the portals here!"
The door opened just in time and I leaped through just as a set of huge fingers nearly engulfed me. As I moved through the door I noticed a bright flash of blue light.

Still following this origin story closely. Your doing a great job with it man. Rel has acted like most any person would have. Confused, angry, scared and anxious to escape what would be perceived as a crazy shit show. She's escaped her captors but now she'll (I assume) find herself in unknown and possibly dangerous territory. I do imagine that if Kay had more sinister intentions then Rel would have been in bindings and would not have been treated with the level of looseness already presented. I agree with the above comment. I can see the realism and the story and expressions that make me think I am scrolling through stills of an actual sci fi series! Keep it up you are doing great art here!
