"Dude! I was just a red cape and all like WOOSH!"Ah yes, the famous cape-scene in the City of Ancients.
Okay now. I left this conversation with a friend saying "I'll draw Vincent!" at about 8 or 7:30. What followed were two fatal attempts at drawing Vincent.
Or let's say, not fatal, but plainly boring and all big yawn.
So I though, what the heck! There are thousands of pictures that show off how bishie and all Vincent is - so I decided to do something more daring.
And this is the result. Death from above - is it a bird? is it a plane? No, it's not even Batman (though it has something batmanish about it, eh?), it's Mister Valentine. Being all gothy and making a gloomy epic appearance. With red cape.
Estimated I spent 30minutes on those two previous sucky attempts, this makes about 3-4 hours for this one. Cannot tell for sure this time.
Painter 7, as always by now.
(Is there even any NEED to point out that Vincent and FF7 is property of Square-Enix? I can't imagine there's anyone who doesn't know anyway.)

That's a tough point of view for a lot of artists to draw, but you handle it nicely. Seeing Vincent like this scared the fangirliness right out of me!

Seriously, I don't see enough art of Vincent looking so.... Stylised. He's a complicated character so to draw him in such a unique way really works well. I am in awe of the atmosphere this picture creates.

Glad you like it, I especially remember having fun with the rather unsual colors! (Though then again, I use blue, purple and red in such a constellation actually every now and then o_Γ΄ )

Unfassbar, wie viele megaaufwΓ€ndige Artworks du in der letzten Zeit produzierst - sitzt du eigentlich Tag und Nacht vor Schreibtisch und PC? Auch dieses Bild ist wieder einmal sehr gelungen. Mir gefΓ€llt vor allem die Dynamik, die es vermittelt und auch dein Colorationsstil wirkt hier sehr passend.
