Thank you! I modified the round brush a little, made it flat, and made one tip darker than the other

Do you use the tilt function on your tablet to get the different directions or do you make a bunch of brushes with different angles?

It would take forever to change the angle every time...

Well yeah, lol. I was curious if you actually used tilt, I went from using an Intuous 2 for many years to an Intuous 3 and it has a tilt feature and I just haven't been able to get good results from it. When I spin the stylus in CS6 it doesn't change angle, it just changes the shape and it looks weird. : / I really haven't been able to get any painterly effects with it.

I just switched from a Bamboo to an Intuous 5 and got lost in its functions and don't use much of them but photoshop has lots of brush settings that you can play with... Go to Shape dynamics and try out the angle jitter control settings, set it first on "initial direction" and see how it moves, then set it on "direction" and notice the difference. I suggest you experiment with everything there
