Description
Helen is a pacific white-sided dolphin who was rescued from fixed fishing nets off the coast of Japan. Her fins were partially amputated from her injuries and government bodies deemed her unreleasable. She lives at the Vancouver Aquarium where she is now part of an amazing research project to learn why dolphins get trapped in nets and how we can create nets dolphin's can "see" and won't get caught in.
