Description
Remy and his parents decided on taking one last trip.

There was a carnival in town, and wanted to see what it had to offer.

They played some of the booths and went on some of the rides.

So far it was a decent carnival.

Before they left, they decided to go in the haunted mansion.

The line was long, so they assumed it was a popular attraction.

After nearly twenty minutes on line, it was their turn. They walked through the main entrance into the mansion. It was dark with flashing lights and the sounds of wild cackling echoed through the corridor.

After passing through the ballroom, they continued down the hallway into a makeshift cemetery.

It was dark and creepy with a night sky and a full moon that seemed frozen in a silent scream.

An animatronic raven was perched on a tombstone. It flapped its wings and croaked "Nevermore."

Remy, who was nervous at first, was really enjoying himself. He thought the other rides and attractions were okay, but they did a job well done with this place.

Suddenly they spotted the Grim Reaper, wielding his scythe.

Mrs. Fox got out the camera. "Get up there," she urged her husband and son. "Let me take a picture of you two with him."

Remy and his father got up on the platform and posed in front of the Reaper.

Before she could snap the picture, the Reaper suddenly cackled and swung his scythe towards the ground.

There was a loud rip as the scythe tore off Remy's shirt and pants, leaving him in his underwear.

His parents were shocked by what happened. Remy didn't even feel the blade swing passed him.

His parents suddenly broke into giggles, trying to keep them from bursting into hysterical laughter.

"What's so funny?" asked Remy.

"Nothing." said his mother.

"Yeah," said his father. "It's pretty much time to go."

As they were leaving, Mr. Fox rushed back to get his sons clothes off the scythe before bringing him aside and coming clean for what happened.

In case Remy hadn't noticed already.
