Once Bradley arrived, they all headed outside for the pool. The water was cool and refreshing. In fact, it had been cooler since the last time it was used.

At first, they splashed one another and swam around, adjusting to the cold. Once they had gotten used to the water, Kyle said, "I have an idea. Anybody for a game of volleyball?" Everybody agreed to the idea.

Kyle went back into the house and came back moments later with a net and some tools. He set up the posts, tightened them up, and tied the net up good and tight across the center of the pool.

He went back in and came back out with a white volleyball. Once Kyle was back in the water, the game could begin.

He and Bradley were at one side of the net, Remy, Richard and Scott on the other. Bradley made the toss and everybody jumped for it.

Throughout the afternoon, there were cries and cheers of scores rising and groans of misses and fouls.

By around four o' clock, the final round was played and Kyle's side won 19-30.

Everyone had a great time. "Let's do this again next summer," said Richard. They all agreed.

Kyles father and sister would be returning home soon, so he advised them to start getting ready to leave.

Just as Remy was getting ready to leave, a cool breeze blew in his face. He knew what that meant.

He thanked Kyle for inviting him. "No problem," Kyle said with a smile.

Remy smiled back. "I'll see you in school."
