Description Brown capuchin (Cebus apella) walking down a branch of a cecropia tree Unfortunately, I was trying to get a better picture, but as soon as he (used lightly, not sure of gender) saw me he headed down and jumped into the bamboo bush directly behind the tree.Β

Nice picture, I wish there was a color version. The low color or black and white makes it look so mysterious and sad and just give you a bad omen sensationΒ

Aw :/ haha well bad omen because people destroy these creatures' habitats? haha Not what I was going for, but to be honest because of the subject the color was such a subtle difference, it was only the blue. I dunno maybe my go to is to just change it to black and white and I think that bites me in the butt sometimes

hmm oh well i mean it's still pretty awesome but you know it's art and it's subjective i might;ve thought of that bad omen cuz all the crappy stuff thaat has been happening in my life so far but still nonetheless a still pretty good shot indeed

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS ARE TO DIE FOR.

What camera do you use?

haha Thank you A Nikon D40, but it's the older version. The new versions can take video and you can look at the screen to take the photo as opposed to the viewfinder

its a beautiful photograph Honestly.

I like how you've kept this photograph in a grayscale/sephia adjustment. The sharpness of the leaves of the tree are well noted here as well. I think you've done a good job with the overall contrast here - even though the background is mundane, That overall dryness adds to the concept of innocence. In my opinion anyway. Its a well taken photograph, and I'm glad you took it.

Thank you Yeah I was trying to get that capuchin more relaxed so you could see it better, but it started running away when it saw me so I just took what I could get, but I think it helps add that subtleness that require exploring the photo At least I hope so :/ haha

Thank you so much for featuring it as well I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a though out critique

Great view point, it makes the tree the obvious focus. And I like how the colors are dulled so there isnt a lot of distraction from the object. Great job:3

Thank you! I do wish I got a better image of the capuchin walking, mainly with it's head up so you can clearly see that not only is an animal in the tree but a monkey. They are so stubborn xD haha I really appreciate your comment
