I agree, sometimes more complicated character artwork is more interesting to look at, but sometimes it's nice to just have something simple every now and then. You did a wonderful job. :3

Thanks! My designs are always somewhere in between, not very minimal but not very detailed either. They both have their pros and cons! I'm trying to get into more detailed designs, though. They look great, but I suck at designing them!

Hah, aww. Well you'll get there eventually. I have been trying out more complicated designs myself, but end up sticking with the simpler ones I already have. It'll take time and a lot of tweaking here and there to get something you'd really love, but if you just keep designing I'm sure you'll find something that really strikes your fancy. (:
