This is ridiculously awesome, both in the fact of how small the stencil is and that stenciling coins is a brilliant way to spread a message. I don't know why I never thought of this because I've seen painted nickels before. Stenciling paper currency probably wouldn't go over as well, though, you think?

Very Cool! All money should have something written on it.

Dude, well done. Might do a series myself, and just use it as actual money XD
Or paper bills... i've always wanted to write a bunch of stuff on bills.

wait. What about Disneyland and all those other amusement parks where they have machines that let you fuse two quarters and a penny into one oval coin with a picture? Ha!
anyways love the stencil!

It's fucking street art, guys. Your questions of legality aren't even relevant in the first place.

Is it illegal over there to deface money like it is over here in the U.S.?

On page 2 there was a discussion on this heree~
I believe the rules are the same in Europe and the U.S. You can't spend what you deface, I believe.

Yeah, apparently most people haven't tried stenciling in the first place, let alone on such a tiny scale.

in Europe vendors don't reject it. and what exactly can you buy for 5 cent?

a vendor can always reject a currency. If they see a nickel that's defaced, then why would they accept it?

You're lucky.
In the States it's illegal to deface currency to spread messages, no matter how innocent, political or not.
