Description

One reason I love doing a really serious sci-fi series is it shows people a lot of cool stuff is possible with just what you have. Eli's series six years ago started with a few destroyed buildings, one figure, some dead trees, and one suit.

It also elevates my skill, since a lot of crazy stuff goes on like firefights, explosions, collapsing buildings, and other VFX heavy scenes that need creativity and effects engineering to solve. All this goes back into other series and my collaborations.

I am somewhat of a Roger Corman style storyteller with that James Cameron style special effects guy backing me up. And working with Vex also challenges me in a lot of new ways, since the body transformation work and evil gothic style is a fun and challenging area to work in.
