I first "discovered" this weapon in a Jack Reacher book by Lee Child and its truly a fascinating piece of equipment,
Really appreciate how the ammunition was designed around the suppressor to stay subsonic but yet have good velocity and stopping power,

No. Quite often those refs are pretty inaccurate and could be used to start only. I like to work with photos. As for old guns and mostly soviet you can find detailed army manuals for repairs and took some accurate projections (with even dimentions in millimeters). Sometimes we can get even shop drawings. But this is rare
