The hell are you talking about, I think the colors work fantastically, especially on the rock and on the water on the right-hand side of the painting. On the left side of the rock the water gets maybe too saturated. Overall, very nice work!

It's pretty fab for a "random quick landscape". I love the golden island/rock, makes sense of the other dark bits. It seems to have arisen from the sea. The shadowy watcher seems to have managed to witness this. I like it.
