Looks awesome. I still don't get how you manage to draw Chell xD Idk she's hard to nail down.
But Wheatley looks so adorable. You can practically see the little heart above him <3

thank youuuu!!! <3 uhhh.. uhhhh. I don't know jkfldas;j haha
Aww thanks! I tried to make him look at her happily, but robot emotions are hard haha but hell yesss I had to put that in ;u; On tumblr though, it's like a little secret cause you would have to drag it to see it haha

I can imagine... wheatley can only show emotions with the eye plates and his posture if he lies around.
But you put it in well and I like it ~ or maybe I'm too much of a shipper haha ~

Reneehere In reply to Cedidit [2016-04-19 22:34:44 +0000 UTC]
I mean he has like different levels of his core and like the inner plate can move and so can the outer and I just drew him as a circle with the two circles in the middle, haha hes all one piece cause I'm lazy and confused
thanks! I looked up references of his emotions and used that to help me out! Well, maybe it's both haha

Drawing Wheatley is so much work x_x I haven't tried it yet though I'm despairing over a damn storage cube right now. Ugh I think I'll just use the one from portal stories Mel x/
You probably saw these emoticon memes on tumblr. I think those are pretty neat. Expressions are so difficult sometimes :/

drawing everyone is so much work jfklsdajfdksl but girl, you got this!!
Yeah! I tried to do one once, and got frustrated and quit.. heh. oops haha

Hell yeah, waaay too much work. But I kinda like prompts like that. One artist had to draw his design of AEGIS smiling and it looked awesome but I just can't imagine him smile haha
Also, I heard people can get bored or run out of stuff to do. Not sure how, but so it is said.

Damn, like his robot form?? That must've been hard.. But I don't think I've seen any human interpretations of him so far actually... hmmm... I would love to see if anyone drew that, that would be cool...
I mean, if your not that good with expressions, it can be kind of hard. heh, I struggle a little bit with that, so I can see how that can happen

There's an artist on Tumblr named dr-bowman, that's pretty much the only human interpretation of Aegis I've seen so far. I'm gonna make one too but it will probably be pretty similar hehe ;-;

OHh!! it's pretty cool!! I love seeing peoples different human interpretations, it's cool to see what others see in characters and i love designing the human forms so seeing yours will be pretty cool though!

Human forms are awesome. Now I'm working on the artwork and he looks mostly like dr-bowman's version *shrug* Idk... when I designed Nigel and Wheatley I was working on making them look less like the artworks I already saw (except for blond and blue eyed Wheatley... that's sort of a rule, right?) Virgil on the other hand... well and I felt like I couldn't come up with anything better for Aegis either, so meh. But I really like the sketch so far, I haven't drawn with colored pencil in ages... And I drew a spider o_o (It was difficult even finding a picture that didn't give me the shivers every time haha, but I managed.) Ahh, too much headcanon.

Yeah... Virgil and Glados were mostly my ideas. But I just have a generic Wheatley haha. It's just like I can't imagine him any other way!! He's just such a dork, and with that voice.. Idk why that's what we think of... Β My Virgil design came before looking at the other ones I think, so that's why mine is kind of different.. I haven't actually sketched with pencils in forever... I find it so hard cause I make so many mistakes and on tablet, my sketches change so much ;n; so sketching with paper is so hard for me now... and ughh. Well one thing I especially hate looking at are cave crickets. We had them at our old house AND THEY WERE SO SCARY AND BIG

I think that's good, once I've seen some interpretations, and found one I like, I'm just too fixated on it to do anything decent ;n; I like how Morality and adventure turned out, though. I like Rick in general xD
Virgil has a ton of cool designs, but I prefer some of them over the others. And my design is sort of paired with the character I've been writing for him on the blog??? It doesn't really interfer with the stuff others do? My brain is weird.
I have no idea how that sketch and then coloring came out so well, like wtf talent, where are you all the time?? I also got a new sketch pad with more expensive paper because my book was full and I really like it (but Virgil is still my best artwork so far).

I like your morality core! She's pretty cool! And Rick looks pretty bad asss
Pssstt! That means your improving then! Niceeee, I have a sketch book but I'm always nervous to draw in it... ^^' oops.Β
But I really do like your Virgil. I think that's the first artwork I found of yours, and I really liked the shading omg ;u;

oooooo!!! That's cool!!
Yeah, I should use mine ;n; it's been like 2 years, and I just drew one thing in there.... I need to learn how to sketch on paper... and learn to draw in less layers haha. But like I have sketch books from when I first started drawing and I love looking through them fjkdlsajf its so much fun haha
...... I think I need to learn how to draw guys in general.. like idk how to male...

Cedidit In reply to Reneehere [2016-05-16 20:21:10 +0000 UTC]
I was sort of okay at it, I suppose, but now it's like "meh, I'll just sketch this here and color it on PC". I keep smearing the pencil. It's not very noticable but in the scan there are dark spots on the paper, it's annoying as hell >n< (Still thinking Virgil is my best one so far. How did I make the colors so smooth? I must have gotten a really good page in the notebook by chance.)
My first real drawing attempts are all in there and it's like "Dear God kill it with fire", but I'm also kind of proud how far I got in such a short time.
Really? We could make up a good team, I prefer drawing guys. How do you female? Except boobs and so on. How. I'm terrible at that.

Reneehere In reply to Cedidit [2016-05-17 19:55:22 +0000 UTC]
aaaaah... I do that, and in drawing class, we use like a red chalk/charcoal? Well whenever I left, the side of my hand was red... and also I smeared the page and such... I looked again, and now that you pointed it out, I can see it. But it's not that bad. You should try to edit it in SAI and try to fix up the edges, spots, and such? Also, maybe because the colors were lighter, they blended easier?? I dunno...
Yeah, I literally do not understand how guys work??? Like what?? haha, you got the guys, I got the girls! Girls for me are so much easier. and just like 2 circles for the upper body and there we go! haha it might be harder than that, but then guys are like larger on the top half and then maybe skinnier hips??? like wat... idk...

Cedidit In reply to Reneehere [2016-05-19 18:55:54 +0000 UTC]
Oooh, I've never used charcoal before, that sounds fun! There's still a lot of stuff I need to try, but drawin equipment can be so expensive... like Copics, they're supposed to be so awesome, but the prices... way too high for an amateur like me, no thanks.
I have literally no idea how to do that in Paint Tool SAI, but I guess I gotta learn it, then ^^
You really make it sound easy, but body shapes, holy hell... Yeah guys have hips that are slimmer than a girl's, and broad shoulders, generally speaking. (Except those specimens from both genders that are just thin without doing anything for it... god, that would be neat.)

Reneehere In reply to Cedidit [2016-05-22 05:11:04 +0000 UTC]
omg yeah, I saw how much they were and I was really surprised... It's so expensive omg ;n; I decided I definitely don't need them... but yeah. It was just what we sketched with in class.Β
I mean you can always just experiment with the brushes and stuff. That's what I used for stuff like that...
hahaha. Learning it actually made it easier for me.. But damn... I feel like guys bodies are all just so different. I really have to learn, but I'm nervous to learn it haha. I am just never really satisfied with my male anatomyΒ

Cedidit In reply to Reneehere [2016-05-23 20:11:16 +0000 UTC]
I really want to try drawing with them because I've seen some amazing artworks but I'd screw it up anyway there's a technique to be used, i looked into a book in the store, that looks so difficult T_T Damn it. Maybe I'll be lucky at some unlikely point and win some copics xD Or I get rich. that's always an option.
Oh okay, well that's another way xD I guess I'll just try around for a bit.
Knowledge is power! I feel like I get inspiration and everything is easier if I just read about stuff. I'm also never fully satisfied with my stuff. You just gotta keep learning I guess. Life is pain (and more drawing.)
