Do you undercoat yours with acrylic coating before you paint or just go for it? Been trying without the coating and it makes it way to tough. Paint won't stick and warps the card from the amount of layers.

Yes, I coat the card with a light gray acrylic layer, I keep it pretty thin by adding some water, and the gray color covers over everything with just one layer, hope that helped
