Personality:
Finn embodies all of the traits to be expected from a young horse, and despite his mild nature: he isn't too fond of hard work. He's stubborn when asked for more than a basic trot, and is prone to stretching his neck as far to the ground as he can manage Asking him to collect himself is a constant battle, but if you're willing to fight, you'll thank yourself later. It's easier to get him working early on in a lesson, and leniency won't get you very far by the time he knows you're not confident. Still, regardless of his inherent laziness, Finn has a lot of energy that seems to manifest in spontaneous bursts. In the pasture, it's not unusual to see him bolting between horses and spooking the masses with his clumsy galloping about. He's the same way with cattle, and it takes a careful rider to keep him from going overboard with herding.

History:
Finn was purchased with the intention of being a lesson horse, but CBEC didn't have the resources to train him past being green broke at the time, so he was briefly stabled at Acetoma. After a year at their stables, Fiona Bailey approached with a private offer to purchase him, as she was looking for a solid AQH mount and helped train him originally. Finn was returned to CBEC after brief negotiations, and has since been continuing his training under saddle.
