Bio: Born in England and into a family composed of a sister, a father, and a mother. Learned how to play Duel Monsters from his mother, who was the European Champion. His mother gave him his deck, the Zombie Summoning deck. She told him that if you trust in your deck there is no way you will fall. He immediately proved his skill, and quickly climbed up the ranks of duelists. He lived a perfect life until his 13th birthday. His family had made a small party for him, and his mother gave him his greatest companion, a duel spirit by the name Vampire Lord. It was the greatest day of his life until a drive by shooter did a hit on his house, he killed all of Vance's family. His mother had shielded him from the shots. Her last words to him were as follows, "Trust in your deck, Vance, and when you duel remember me." Vance was devastated, his entire family all he ever loved was gone, he cried for hours, clenching his deck. He heard a voice that said, "do not be sad, my friend. For you are not alone, I will always be here for you, in the good and the bad."
Vance looked up to see Vampire Lord with a sympathetic look on his face covering him with his cloak. Since that day the two were the best of friends. After three years of foster care, Vance chose to live on his own, and make his own wages. He got a job, and moved into an apartment. He was constantly recognized as the European Champion. He went to duel academy and was placed in Obelisk Blue, and Kaiba had even given him a full scholarship to go. He know lives his dream of challenging the greatest duelists in the world and training to be the best their is.
