Description I've been playing Fire Emblem: Awakening as well as Animal Crossing New Leaf lately. For whatever reason, I got the idea to draw Ren in a Tactician Costume. Those details on the cloak were hard to do, though, and I even left out some!
By the way, this is my first time using 's photoshop brush. What do you think?

Ahh Ren looks so adorable! The fluffiness of her (? ^^") ears... So cute. The details on the cloak are extravagant. The hood is amazingly drawn and the colors make it stand out. (In a good way, of course.) But they don't stand out as much as the eyes. The eyes are colored and drawn just that little bit differently than the rest and that makes them pop, adding emphasis on them. The shading, like always, is extravagantly well done and done just right.




As for the "Checkmate".... Hmm... The eyes have got you cornered, they seem to be staring at you. There is no escape, just like in chess.

Thanks! 'Checkmate' is actually a quote from Fire Emblem: Awakening, and that's why I gave this piece that name xDDD
