I LOVE No More Heroes, and have wanted to do a Travis Touchdown for a long time, but I never found a proper assortment of parts, and...well, I knew this would be a tough S.O.B to make (he was too!), so once I found parts I was happy with, I worked diligently to bring you all the former wrestler turn assassin, Travis Touchdown! I really wanted to do Blood Berry justice and not just throw together some half-assed beam sword, so I spent a few hours putting together fodder pieces that I felt would work. I'll break down the builds for both Travis and B.B:

Travis Touchdown

Head + Upper Body: Neca Twilight Edward w/ glasses from Mezco Heroes figure; hair and sideburns sculpt, sticker letters for t-shirt, and coat trim
Hands: Right hand from a Playarts FF character, wrist band on left wrist from Playarts KH Roxas
Lower Body: Mezco The Spirit w/sculpt for jean wear and rip, belt w/metal loops from ML Domino

Blood Berry

Shaft: Metal rod cut from a whisk + clear twist tie
Beam: WD40 nozzle + skewer
Handle and Receiver: Metal rod, Macross trading art ship parts, ML Cable gun scope, lollipop stick, Sota Sakura accessories, and triple joint from trading art display base

The paint app was the most frustrating one that I have had to go through, and while I'd like to believe that my paint apps are getting better, I still always seem to have a tough go of it. Well, all that aside, I am really happy that I finally got him done, and now that he is, I think I'll start planning to make the rest of the cast. I hope you all like him as much as I do...now I'm off to play some No More Heroes!
