Here's my mock-up for my Midna cloak! I'm incredibly happy about how it turned out. And now I get to pick it all apart to use as a pattern for the real thing.

This is my first time creating my own pattern, and it turned out surprising well. Naturally I'm aware that the fabric is rather horrific. And I had no idea what to do with my face. And the wig isn't styled. And the skirt still needs help. The widest part of me is below my hips, which makes a skirt like this difficult (thanks, mom). But all in all, I'm ready to buy my fabric!! Not sure what kind to get, though... satin or matte.

I think I've decided to wear heels with my cloak, which is why it drags on the ground. I'll be taller for the con.
