ohh. very nice. the reflection is really REALLY nice.
i have to say that the anatomy is very nice. except it suggests that the head and neck should be a little more.. loose, or fragile looking and perhaps down ward.

Very cool illustration. I especially like that the reflection in the water is different from the actual figure. Its not immediately noticable which makes me like it all the more. I also like how you drew the water droplets on the skin. Great anatomy and detailing overall. You should turn up the contrast a bit though to make the paper a bit whiter. like this it looks smudged or faded.

and well, i understand what you mean, but i lowered the brightness slightly to make it darker, a little more depressed looking. if ya know what i mean. so um....
do you really think it'd look better lighter? maybe i should recallibrate...

The great thing about photoshop is that you can separate the main image from the background. i agree that it does make the feel a bit more gloomy, but the background needs to be a bit brighter. This way it just looks like a poor scan and a lot of potential viewers may turn away before giving it a chance. Presentation is everything! Just fus with it a bit but when it really comes down to it, you ultimately have to be happy with your own work.

Thank you very much! I try to never take others characters or their designs, as a rule of thumb. Ive had both characters and stories, taken from me.
The idea and atmosphere are also mine, and I am pleased that you like it.
Hmm, Im at a loss of words. All I have to say is that when I draw anime, I dont do it for the reasons most people do, which is usually when someone likes a certain anime or character. I try to do it in an artistic fassion, to express how i feel with my pencil, instead of my mouth. I draw anime because i love drawing.
I am very pleased that you could at least kinda see that.

wow, you did the water very well. and the reflection is fantastic. I love how in the reflection it looks like shes holding her head but then in reality shes holding her chest. Well done. Great feeling of sadness and isolation from this one.

holy shit!!! this is deffinately some of the best work i've seen from you my friend. The only criticism i can think of was already said, thats too bad but whatever, it's adds to the true..ness... of the comment, The shading on the stomache is a little to dark, it makes the stomache look like its hangin down a little, and with her figure... i doubt it's supposed to lol, anyway, it is amazing. I stared at it for like 5 minutes tryin to find somethin wrong with it other than the affore mentioned one... and i didn't find a damn thing.
