Description
Thisbrokenglassworld
is heavy for one
with wings so
light.
She dares to blow aside the
soot of fear that
obscures
these weary stars
and finds that
shimmering hope
slumbers
beneath.
Drifting smoothly above the
contagion
of humanity's
endangered soul,
she weeps,
tears carving tracks
across our armor of
disenchantment.
We are
reborn in her
sacrifice
as she rests,
wearied by the effort of
sustaining this
barren place.
Beneath her gaze,
we are
never
lost.

Your drawing is very good as is the coloring but the back gound is so faint it looks like she is just there. Don't get me wrong I like this a lot but you may want to add more detail to the background so she looks lett pasted on if you know what I mean?

maybe it's just me, but she reminds me of gwynneth paltrow for some reason! and this pic also brings up a question: why do you not do more color work? i'd love to see your bw art in color! this pic proves that you are great at coloring and that you're actually willing to do it hehe (so you have no excuses!) lol....
