Same here, it's been quite a while since I drew any Hetalia characters in fact... Somehow, I just can't anymore even if I sometimes try. To me, Hetalia characters feel very hard to draw nowadays... ;u;
(I've actually putten some thought into this recently. I think Hetalia characters have always been hard for me to draw but I only realised it after drawing so much other fanart. SnK characters are the same. No matter how much I like it, I don't like drawing fanart that much because the characters are so hard to draw. Just saying...)

I mean like, I dunno.~~ I find it so easy for some reason. Like, I don't even know. I think it might be a bad thing tbh. I draw them way too much. Then again, nowdays I draw Homestuck more.... that's sad.;_;
But yeah, I still draw Hetalia sometimes, I just don't submit the pictures.XD
But... if you find it hard to draw characters you like.... what do you find easy to draw??

Haha, same here. I submit only little of everything I really draw

Well... Uh... I think that Hetalia characters are hard to draw because they are so normal looking... I guess..? I mean, they have hairstyles any normal person can have and quite simple and normal looking clothes. Or military uniforms. And pretty average faces. (And the same goes to SnK characters.) And I just find it very hard... I really like drawing long flowy hair and cool hairstyles (with all kinds of colours), weird clothes with lots of details (that do not care about gravity), magic tools, jewellery, boys that look and act girly, mahou shoujo, interesting scars and tattoos.... And all stuff like that~ You get the idea?
And, those things are also what I am best at drawing, I think. At least I find that kind of stuff easier to draw. Ahaha~

For example, characters from Magi are something I've always loved drawing! Djinn equips are sooo cool~

You don't think it might be because it's hard to make them look like... well... them? Because they're so ordinary looking? I don't really mind for some reason. Dunno why really. Maybe I just like ordinary? I used to love that stuff you netyoned before... but I'm not so sure anymore. I think I might find SnK hard because they all have simelar uniforms and i don't know the characters very well, though. I miiiight try to draw them in modern day au though. Maybe. I actually like that au. I see a lot of it on tumblr. I think I like that way more than the actuall thing.

Come to think of it, I really like modern day AUs. Like I draw that mostly I think. Unless it's Hetalia, cause i can draw that like... how i want to draw it.~

But hey! How about this!~

Because I also think it's very cruel that they have to die first...

Well, I see that sometimes. Like in Magi modern AUs. There it's very common to change their hairstyles for example. I guess because many of them would look kinda weird in modern day but still... (And for some reason I feel like either Sinbad or Ja'far gets reincarated as a girl very often... I'm not very fond of that thought either...)

A shounen thingy about ancient arabic stuff. I think it's really cool~ Um... My art blog (which you just got to know) is pretty much full of it. ^^'

So... it's about... uh...
The story happens in a place resembling our ancient old world (ancient rome, china, middle east etc.). But there are buildings called "dungeons" and persons called "magi". Dungeons are places where you most likely die trying to conquer it but if you don't, you get really cool power, aka. your own blue giant that gives you some great ability. And magi are great magicians who have the power to rise and destroy those dungeons, or even make a country prosper or fall as they please. But there can only be 3 magi at once.
So, this story is about Aladdin, who is the 4th magi against all the laws of the nature (and also the reincarnation of Solomon). Conquering the dungeons is also a big part of it. And then there's these bad people who want to turn the world black and Aladdin, who has seen the truth or whatever you want to call it, needs to stop them.
I guess that's it basically, haha... ^^'

Also as a side note: many of the characters' names are from One Thousand and One Nights' stories. (Aladdin, Alibaba, Morgiana, Cassim, Sinbad, Ja'far, Yunan...) They also often have some similiarities to these original arabian story characters. ouo
