What's up everyone! It's been a while since I last uploaded something. Here's another
piece that I had been wanting to do for my friend, ! This one features
Jet from my manga series, Lucky's Mart, and Random from Randommode's manga series,
The Pirate Madeline! It's a totally awesome and fun read! I definitely recommend you
guys to give it a read as well as give Random a follow; he's a really cool guy.
Jet: Now then, let's get down to business...

The composition of the piece is nice and clear. What I recommend is to work in silhouettes. This coming from the animation major, it'll help push the pose more and easy to read. Not all poses you will be able to clear silhouette but you want to attempt to still try. Next, make sure you have a clear line of action where the pose flows through. What fabric are the pants? With the wrinkles, It, feels like it should be breezy. Maybe less wrinkles in some places?
All and all I like, just need to keep trucking and doing what you're doing!

My brother and I were both talking about the pose and how it feels stiff. Like the motion of it can't really be felt. I'll definitely have to work on that. I definitely need to work on drawing folds for clothing. I'll be putting a bunch of time into practicing many aspects of my artwork so I'm positive it'll improve in time. Thanks for the critique! It definitely helped out!

lol Well he was a labor of love, his old designs were lacking, I wanted to give him dashes of color, hence the red scarf in the original comic he had a blue scarf, but I think the red works better.

It all worked out in the end too. Yeah man, it's fun drawing your characters and I'd love to do it again sometime.
