Ambrose is the eldest child of Hekkate , and her most beloved son. Hekkate always told him that he was a blessing and she believed he was destined for great things. From a young age, she trained him to be a steadfast leader and brave warrior and she often allowed him to journey with her as she sought out new recruits for the Order of Thorns. It was during one of these adventures that he was introduced to Faerie , and he immediately knew his destiny was intertwined with her own. He vowed to protect the Arcanist witch, from herself and those that would do her harm.
