    "Come here."
    Dustin leaned down obediently to let Levi drape the coat around his shoulders.
    It was a very pretty coat, vintage style, thick denim with a Sherpa lining that would keep him warm all winter.
    He pulled it tighter around his shoulders, smiling and pressing his face to it to breathe in the new clothes smell.
    "What is this for?"
    "It's a housewarming gift."
    "I thought you already gave me your gift?"
    Levi ruffles his hair, and smiles sweetly.
    "Yeah, but this is special. When I left home, I didn't have anything but the clothes on my back. I was from a sunbelt state, I didn't even think to grab a coat, not that I had a real winter coat. Even when I got my apartment, I couldn't afford to run the heat too much, so I was always cold. I started my adult life poor, cold, and hungry."
    Dusty slides his arms through the coat as he straightens up, adjusting it properly. He hooks the zipper at the bottom and looks towards his big brother. Levi chuckles, and zips it up.
    "This is my wish for you. To always be warm, and to never have to worry about having a roof over your head, or food in your stomach. Love you, lil bro."

I'm not crying - YOU'RE CRYING. I loved this piece, but it took DAYS to do. When Dusty moves into his first apartment, Levi deals with his own feelings about that.
I don't know what to say, they're brother, they love each other, this is so sweet.
  I do love this room, though. Love the bench seat under the window. You could read or fall asleep in the sunlight like a cat. I'm also quite proud of that window view. No real stuff, just blocked out building shapes in shades of blue.
