I use all sorts of clay: plastaline, water base clay, polymer clay for small things ( like fimo and sculpey), and epoxy clay for really small things. I am always seraching for new clays to try.
Β I have a mold made on the clay piece and then have it cast in gypsum. I do most of the detail work in the gypsum casting.
