I found this adorable little guy in our garage today. I then spent the next hour and a half or so sitting on the porch hanging out with the little salamander. Eventually he just curled up and went to sleep in my hand and I just about died of cuteness overload! LOOK AT THE PRECIOUS!!!!Related content

Okay, funny story. My mom is terrified of snakes. Hates them, doesn't want anything to do with them. So we bought a house out in the country back shortly after I turned nine; she delegated Dad Official Destroyer of Snakes.
One day, she went out to get something from the basement and came back in a screeching panic. She'd heard something that sounded long and slithery rustling down there. So Dad put on his Official Destroyer of Snakes hat and went out to take care of it. He came back a few minutes later...
....
With a panicked salamander in his hand.
He has teased her about that ever since.
