[[ YAY HISTORY TIME.
Anywayyy... listening to songs like this [link] makes me get in the instant mood to start giggling and draw things like this.

First off, the characters on his shoulder [æīŠé–€; 'Hongman'] was the first secret society [akin to today's modern Chinese Triads] to be established in Singapore, based of the [China's] Fujian province's Tiandihui. ['Heaven and Earth Society'.]

Basically, for a while before Sing became a crown colony, England was all "Hey India, you kinda live close to this kid, I'm just gonna go back home, can you kinda keep an eye on him or something?" And India was like "Okay... uhm, kid, you can... do what you want?;;;" and with all the sudden Chinese immigration, BAM. Singapore did just that, and complete and utter chaos came in the form of organized crime! 8'D

And then, one day England came back and was like "BLOODY HELL WHAT'S GOING ON HERE. D8>" and disciplined [//spend money on] the secret societies right out of the poor kid. And now, all you can find are really smalltime gangs that can nowhere near compare... BUT ANYWAY.
