Oh, I've really enjoyed watching the first 2 seasons of Winx Club this summer. Winx Club is a 2004 Italian animated television series, created by Iginio Straffi and produced by Rainbow S.p.A. I love the artwork and designs of the fairies. It inspired me to draw my own characters. In the animation, the fairies are all princesses from different realms that attend Alfea School.

So I designed a young princess, Kiara, from the planet Equinia (a horse loving planet... no big suprise there). On Equinia all the people are bonded with a horse, who is their pet and friend for life. Kiara's horse is Lily. Lily can transform into her magical fairy form whenever Kiara transforms, and also has a winx form and enchantix form (same as Kiara).

Done w/micron pen on paper. The fairy poses were referenced from the Winx Club coloring book: What Are Friends For (2005). Horse poses made up... so forgive the anatomical issues.
