Dress up one of your Obertaurers as a reindeer. The more convincing the better. Throw on all the decor, antlers and harness if they don't mind x)

Dean and Brittany may have convinced Faith to dress up Sooty for a holiday photo shoot... but there is no way they're getting her to don a Christmas costume, too.

Now Sooty is looking at his human with questions... "what are you doing to me, and why am I the only one dressed like I'm part of Santa's Shiny Reindeer Express?"

He is going to need extra carrots and peppermint candies after all of this...

No surprise I went with the blue and silver theme (instead of red/gold/green for the tack)... had to make sure everything coordinated with Sooty of course... and my boy has blue eyes and the silver gene... so yeah. And why stop at a traditional sleigh harness, when I can go full-blown crazy and really deck my Ober out?!?

I would have loved to shade Sooty and add a background (no matter that it wasn't required by the event), but with the hecticness of this holiday season I just don't have any more RL time I can work on this. At least I got to practice fur textures, antler textures, and metal shine... and give myself a hand cramp drawing in all that silver thread on the fabric, LOL.

Does the deer motif on the saddle pad look like silver thread embroidery? Any tips I can use going forward on creating a "stitched" look to decor elements?
