Being misunderstood,Isn't something I asked for.
Its a burden....
A burden true enough,
But its a burden I bare
Upon my shoulders.
Mo matter how hard
People try, They never truly
Understand my pain, sorrow,
Anguish, exhaustion, determination.
I try to make them
Understand.....they only look
With their eyes and not their
Minds to comprehend these words
That come out of
My mouth with passion.
Only blank stares
Are received from these
Words of pure passion.
Passion they are too
Afraid to comprehend.
So listen to my words
With closed eyes.
Listen with your soul
And not your unwilling eyes.
Listen carefully and you might....
Just might finally understand what
I feel, see, and think.
You won't though...
You'll just see a girl.
A broken, alone,
Misunderstood girl.
Standing in front of you...
Speechless.....
