Description

((Good Arceus This bio man.... So, some things are out of date as I wrote this three years ago. Regardless, she has many different versions of her character depending on what verse she is in. This one happens to be for a verse that my friend created years ago. The trainer design doesn't change though and she finally has a semi-decent picture.)

Tori Kohaku
Nickname: “The adaptability master”, Tor-Tor (Marina), Tortellini (Dante)

Rank/Class: Frontier brain (lol my uber character persay)
Hometown and region: Cerulean city in Kanto
Gender: female
Age: 18-23
Sexuality: heterosexual
Badges or ribbons?: After a long journey that lasted her several years, Tori has managed to obtain all the badges from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh  as well as the Hoenn frontier symbols.
Specialized in: Pokemon that adapt well to different situations, most notably her eeveelutions.

APPEARANCE

Eye color: Cerulean blue
Hair color and style: Calypso blue hair styled back into a ponytail that usually hangs more on the left side.
Body type : pretty average with a b-cup bust.
Fashion/style: elegant and themed.
Alternate outfits: She has an outfit that matches just about all of her eeveelutions (hey if you get bored you’d need a hobby too!)

PERSONALITY

Tori is, for the most part, a very curious individual who loves to explore. She likes to investigate legends and partake in late night seminars on battle strategy. To her, strategy is everything and she constantly tries to change her battle style to keep things fresh. She is a very kind person and tries to be mature around people. However, there are a few people that know her more devious side. Tori likes to occasionally poke fun and tease her friends just as she often receives, but she tries to make sure she never goes too far. She, like most teens, can come off as a tad rash in her decisions. She certainly isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination and sometimes she tends to snap when she feels cornered. She generally keeps her temper under tabs though and is more of a passive aggressive person. Despite this, she is very forgiving though and more than willing to give people a second chance. There are certain things that she has a harder time forgiving though, lying, betrayal and those that murder and steal.

Ever since Tori was younger, she has never held a grudge against anyone, unlike a certain cousin of hers. Tori, is fairly good at managing her time between the Adaptability gym and the ranch itself, but she primarily takes care of the gym and the trainers that come to visit. She loves giving tips to kids that come to watch her battles and, even though extremely humble when it comes to her position, she always reserves seats for these kids. Overall, Tori tends to be pretty down to earth and mature. She never accepts the stereotypes on groups and always makes sure that she gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, which tends to get her in trouble a lot.

Bio

Tori may be a frontier brain now, but she had to work her butt off to get to this position, and even harder to do so with the team she has. In Tori’s younger years, from around the time she was born all way up till she was nine, her family ran a daycare/breeding facility and it was this that her love of pokemon stemmed from. Tori had originally assumed that she would take over the family breeding and day care facility with her sister, but disaster struck. Shortly after Tori received her first pokemon as gift for her ninth birthday, her mother became terribly ill and unable to work the daycare. Yume, Tori’s older sister by about 4 years, did the best she could with their father to run it, but they eventually had to shut it all down. They never did start up their business again, because soon after Tori and Yume’s mom died.

It was hard on the two kids, as one can imagine, especially when their father became so depressive he became a workaholic. Sure the kids didn’t have to worry about losing the house, but they had to learn to fend for themselves. Tori and Yume would often hold practice battles to train their pokemon, Tori with her eevee Lance and Yume with her dratini Marimba. Despite the fact that the two would often have to deal with issues on their own, Yume and Tori didn’t seem to have too many issues with their relationship.

On Tori’s 10th birthday, Yume decided to break the news to her that she was going to leave and go on a pokemon journey. She offered for Tori to come, but Tori still felt an obligation to stay home with their father, on the rare occasions he ever came home. Tori waited an entire year on her father to come home, and he never did. In fact, he sent a letter to the house saying that he had moved to the Unova region for his job and that this house was of no importance to him. Tori was deeply hurt that her dad hadn’t even bothered to tell her this in person and that he didn’t want to see them anymore and finally set out on her own pokemon journey.

At first, there was a lot of crying since Tori wasn’t used to being alone, but eventually the crying stopped as Tori became better friends with Lance. She journeyed around Johto for about 3 months, managing to secure 3 badges in this time, when she had her first real encounter with Team Rocket. At this point, Tori had Lance, Gardenia, Siren and a Pidgeot with her. Team Rocket had threatened her and began to make advancements to steal her pokemon when to her relief someone saved her. Dante, a childhood friend of hers who had moved to the fiorre region when he was about six, managed to shoo away the Rockets. The two caught up with one another and he explained that he was on a month break from the ranger school. During this month, the two traveled with one another and Dante watched her gain her fourth gym badge. Dante eventually had to return to the Fiorre region, but his short time with Tori made her gain confidence.

After Dante left, Tori made her way towards Olivine city to battle Jasmine. The battle was extremely hard for Tori, considering Siren was the only one that seemed to be of any help, but she was always taken out by Jasmine’s magneton. It wasn’t until later that she realized that Dante had given her a fire stone. She evolved Lance into a Flareon and managed to beat the rest of Jasmine's team. The rest of the badge quest was fairly easy, save for Claire and her powerful dragon type pokémon, and she eventually made it to the pokemon league. However, Tori only made it to the final 15 before her defeat. Although Tori wasn’t too upset with her failure, Tori did end up releasing some of her pokemon, the ones who wanted to leave anyway. She caught Zeus around this time and had another encounter with Team Rocket. During this encounter, Tori realized her passion for vigilante work and decided that she would stop criminal activity when she would come across it.

When the time came for Tori to leave Johto, she decided to go on a badge quest in a region known as Sinnoh. By now, Tori was almost 13 and as such, decided for her birthday that she would start over with just Lance, Zeus and Siren, opting to leave Gardenia with Professor Rowan for the time being. The three pokémon traveled with her, and they eventually added a new member to their team when they reached Snowpoint city, Tara’s birthplace.

It was during this time Tori met up with her more stoic cousin, and she and Tara ended up traveling together. The large difference in personalities caused a bit of a strain on the journey, and the two would occasionally part ways, but they always managed to make-up. Since this was Tara’s first real journey, Tori encouraged her along the way, learning more about pokémon and herself in the process. Both Tori and Tara both completed their Sinnoh league badge quest, heading through Sunnyshore city which had been closed before.

After some struggles with a group of Team Rocket goons that kidnapped them, Tara and Tori ended up almost missing the deadline to get their eighth badge. Tara lost one of her pokémon, stolen, during a battle with a young woman named Callie. Callie, a friend of Tori’s when she was younger, had been taken in by Team Rocket, kidnapped rather, and brainwashed. Tori was unable to really fight against Callie because of their past history and got both she and Tara hurt. Eventually, Tara’s dad came to save the day, but Tori and Tara never forgot. Unfortunately, Tori didn’t really have time to practice for the pokémon league and was only able to make it into the top 18 this time. Tara decided to take a long break from pokémon after this and do some growing up, putting aside “childish frivolities” like battling.

This caused a bit of a strain between the two cousins as Tara continued to become more serious and headstrong. Tori decided to head for the Hoenn region in order to train more there and complete the badge quest. This badge quest proved to be her longest, as she met up with Dante and take on vigilante work. It certainly hadn’t been her idea at first, only starting out when they destroyed a ploy that Team Rocket seemed to be threatening the Hoenn region with after the separation of team magma and aqua. However, it almost felt good to Tori to be able to fight back at the team that had caused her and her family such grief.

Together, Tori and Dante would go on missions as the ranger union assigned them. It wasn’t technically permitted for a non-ranger to go on ranger missions, but Tori and Dante made extra sure that the Ranger Union never found out. It was during this time, that Tori acquired a new pokémon for her team; Mirage, the espeon. Dante had given Tori mirage as a sort of gift and Mirage quickly grew accustomed to the life she now held. Gym matches were taken on and off as her time had been divided. She had just received her final badge, when one of the major events in her life took place. Tori and Dante had learned of an undercover rocket scandal that had been started to capture the legendary pokémon Rayquaza, and the two of them foolishly went out to stop it.

True, Dante was a top ranger by now, but Tori was still rather inexperienced in the vigilante field. Things seemed to be going rather well for a while until Tori managed to trip a silent alarm. Rockets swarmed them left and right, tying them up and throwing them in a storage closet It was then that Tori met Thompson, although Tori never got to see his real face. Tori let her anger towards Thompson shine through, and the crafty spy used this to his advantage.  Tori had Lance use a flamethrower attack in hopes of hitting Thompson’s Gengar. However, Thompson’s Gengar knew the move smog and quickly used it to his advantage. The storage room had several fireworks also stored within it and the smog allowed the fire to spread about the room. Thompson, who had used the cover from the smog to escape, knew that there was no way that Tori AND Dante would be safe.

He was right. Dante had his Tyranitar use protect to protect both Tori, her pokémon and itself, while he took the blow. Dante was critically injured and had to have his left leg amputated. Tori was absolutely devastated by this and blamed herself for her careless actions. She almost refused to participate in the Hoenn league, but Dante soon snapped her out of her funk (mostly). Tori managed to make it all the way to the semi-finals of the tournament, losing again because of her inability to keep her emotions under tabs, but she still vowed never to be a vigilante again. Instead of leaving Hoenn right away though, Tara decided to tour around a little bit longer. During this time, Tara learned of a place called the battle frontier that bordered Kanto and Hoenn. Tori was thrilled to hear about this challenge and decided to partake in it to grow stronger.

Tori found the frontier battles to be much more challenging than a regular gym battle, or even a league battle. It was during this time that Tori really refined and mastered her strategic techniques. Tori loved the atmosphere that battle frontier provided and continued on with her challenge, taking a break after her second battle frontier win. Tori traveled to the Unova region for a quick break, specifically touring Iccuris city. During her stay there, Tori came upon a trainer that had a beautiful shiny umbreon. Tori instantly took a liking to the elegant creature and Tori traded a special ninetails she had in her party. The umbreon seemed to get along wonderfully with the team and, having a new team member, Tori traveled back to Hoenn.

Tori’s next few frontier battles seemed to be the most challenging, but none more challenging than the battle pike. After her final battle at the battle pike, Tori ended up adding yet another member to her team. With her team growing, Tori began to grow more confident. It took her another several months before her battle frontier journey ended. Tori was almost sad when she finally defeated it, loving how utterly challenging everything had been, wondering what it would really be like to be a frontier brain.

Tori’s final journey took place in Kanto, the region of her birth and by now, she was a confident and extremely powerful trainer. She managed to beat Brock’s little brother with no problem at all, but Misty proved to be a bit more of a challenge. Tori and Misty, two childhood friends and rivals, fought hard, but eventually Tori pulled out a win. The rest of the quest became easier after that, and by the time Tori conquered the eighth gym she felt she was more than prepared for the Kanto league. Lucy made a special journey to visit her new friend and the two of them practiced together.  Tori entered the Kanto league and made it to the finals, the final battle being against the champion, Lance. Tori fought for all she was worth, using everything she had learned over her 17 years, but still fell short. She had managed to get Lance down to his last resort pokémon, his dragonite, but it managed to take out Serena.

Feeling slightly dejected and upset, Tori had thought she might try to go to the Unova region. Fate had a different plan in mind. Even though Tori hadn’t won a league victory, a young man named Scott came by and offered Tori a position as a frontier brain in the new Johto battle frontier. Tori was beyond ecstatic and readily accepted. Since then, Tori serves as the frontier brain for the battle condo where challengers may come and try to earn an adaptability symbol. Tori couldn’t be happier with her job, but sometimes when there are no challengers, she will sneak off and participate in contests (even though she hasn’t won any ribbons).

POCKET MONSTER TEAM

Lance the Flareon
Gender: male

Ability: flash fire
Nature: Adamant. Lance is a very strong leader that likes to keep all the other pokemon in check. He sincerely cares for his trainer’s best interest and will protect her at all cost. He can come off as a little stuck up in some cases to others, but once he warms up to you he is just like a fluffy little dog. He doesn’t like men too much and will tend to sequester himself away from any male presence. He is really only accepting of Mr. Diazmond and Dante, but he might warm up to others.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: overheat, superpower, flame charge, toxic
Lance was the first pokemon Tori received and it really holds a special place in her heart. It was also a gift from her mother. In the earlier days of when Tori’s family ran a daycare/breeding center, it wasn’t all that strange to get requests to breed eevees, as they were generally very popular with the rich. Tori always seemed the most enthralled with the fluffy fox like pokemon and so, on her 9th birthday, Tori got her first pokemon. Lance, as she dubbed her male eevee, was a wonderful companion for Tori, and although she wasn’t old enough to travel yet, Tori and Lance practiced and trained hard. Even though his defenses are pretty low, Lance has more than made up for it with his attack power. Tori relies on him when she needs things finished off quick. Although Lance is most definitely one of Tori’s favorites, he doesn’t battle much now. He was seriously injured at one point and since then only serves as a last resort. He is now usually just moral support for Tori and follows her most everywhere.

Zeus the Jolteon
Gender: male

Ability:volt absorb
Nature:Rash. Zeus is rather impetuous and mischievous. He loves to poke fun at the others and tease them constantly(especially poor Lance). However, despite how wild this pokemon can be, he can be a really big polite sweetheart. He likes to do his part to cheer up anyone in the group that might be having a bad day.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: magnet rise, wild charge, thunder wave, volt switch and hidden power (grass)
This is one of the only one of her eeveelutions to be caught in a battle. Zeus, as Tori named the impulsive jolteon, was a rogue pokemon she came across on a visit to the crystal lake. Tori was immediately smitten with the yellow pokemon and made it her mission to catch him. At first, Tori was unsuccessful in catching him and actually gave up on the worthy opponent. It wasn’t until her defeat in in the final 15 of the silver conference did she see him again. At this point, Tori had just thought the pokemon had come to torment her and decided to not catch, or so had been the plan anyway. After some drama involving Team Rocket trying to kidnap a man known as the move tutor, Tori and Zeus were forced to team up and save him. It was during this that Zeus actually came to respect Tori enough to later on have a battle with her to see if she was worthy of being his trainer. Zeus proved to be a worthy advisory but was eventually snagged in a fast ball. As thanks for saving him, the move tutor offered to teach Zeus a move that might help him against ground type attacks. After an extensive training regiment, Zeus learned the move magnet rise, a move that has been extremely beneficial in battles.

b>Siren the Vaporeon
Gender:female

Ability:water absorb
Nature:bold. Siren is of course one of the more fearless pokemon that Tori owns and as such, she loves to battle. Siren is pretty kind and sweet, but sometimes that kind heartedness has gotten her into trouble. Siren also has a slight fear of immersion in water from the time she nearly drowned. She doesn’t tend to trust others that much and is wary of anyone until she gets to know them.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: hydro pump, hidden power (fire), wish, acid armor and ice beam.
Tori obtained Siren after she began her journey, saving up her prize money to buy a female eevee from a breeder. Since females tend to cost more than males, Tori stayed around Azalea town for some time. During this time, she also caught a slowpoke with unusual bright blue eyes who she named Garedenia. While continuing to raise money, Tori found that Gardenia was a wonderful addition to her team and that she got along great with others. After finally reaching her goal, Tori finally purchased her new female eevee. Unfortunately for her, the new eevee didn’t seem too keen about Lance, which was a downer for Tori since she had thought about breeding the two. The three pokemon in tow, Tori continued her journey until she came to a pond. Tori had only intended on taking a short break, releasing all her pokemon to join her in her little breather.

While Tori was distracted by Lance and Gardenia, a curious Siren made her way to the pond and fell in. Tori didn’t even notice at first until she heard a pathetic little gargled bark as her eevee slipped beneath the surface. Tori dove in the water to pull her waterlogged new pokemon but found it to be more of a challenge when her shoe lace got caught in the dock. As luck would have it though, Tori managed to get to the eevee before it completely drowned. However, as she got out of the bank, she realized that she had actually stumbled across a water stone, because Siren evolved.

Despite the fact that Siren was a vaporeon she was left with a crippling fear of being submerged in water or being almost completely immersed. She also held a grudge against Tori for some time, until Tori made up for it by saving her later on during a dangerous visit to Shoal cave in Hoenn. Siren will now stand by Tori’s side and protect her, even trust her with her life now.

Artemis the Shiny Umbreon
Gender: female

Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Sassy. Despite how sweet and patient this pokemon is, she takes on an entirely different persona while battling. She can become devious and cunning just like that and she finds joy in beating her opponents so they know who is in charge. She is mainly for strategic purposes and is very smart and intelligent because of this. She’s a very big people person though and loves most everyone.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: yawn, curse, moonlight, payback, psychic, toxic
Tori obtained Artemis in a trade from Rikka. After acknowledging the tiny fox pokemon seemed to dislike her vigilante life style and more of the regular battling, Rikka decided that Artemis was more suited for a life style that another trainer could give. Artemis was willingly traded over to Tori in exchange for one of her party, a ninetails with the rare ability drought.

Artemis took the trade fairly well, but will definitely get excited when she sees Rikka. She still loves Tori though and tends to hold the same mannerisms. She prefers not to stay in her moon ball, but will do so when she knows she must. Mainly though she and Lance take turns walking at Tori’s feet. Artemis is kind of a free spirit though and will also often pop out of her pokeball to go and bask in the moonlight. She is slightly claustrophobic and will panic if there are any sorts of cages. Ever since she was captured by team rocket, Artemis tends to have that fear. She will also become extremely violent when anyone from Team Rocket is around. She seems to have gotten better at channeling her rage into listening and attacking, but there are times where she will just go in for the attack.

For the most part though, Artemis is a little sweetheart who loves people and has a large amount of patience. Tori often brings Artemis with her to the classes that she teaches and Artemis adores little children. She is uber cuddly and loves to be petted. Despite the fact that she isn’t too terribly strong, her defensive abilities are tough as nails and she is extremely smart, making her one of Tori’s more used pokemon.

Mirage the Espeon
Gender: female

Ability: magic bounce
Nature:Timid. Although not a coward, Mirage tends to be extremely cautious around strangers and will avoid confrontational experiences like the plague. She will only appear in front of you if you are positive and friendly and she won’t allow you to pet her at first. She’s not mean, actually she’s very sweet and kind, but she is really cautious around others. She has very very sensitive ears and loud noises will cripple her from moving temporarily.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: psyshock (trying to learn psychic), magic coat, heal bell, calm mind, hidden power (fighting) and shadow ball
Mirage will not be as much of a fraidy cat in this verse, but she will still have her sensitivity to negative feelings. She was given to Tori as a gift from Dante while he was on one of his ranger missions in the Fiorre region. She was actually under the ownership of a black market salesmen who ended up being arrested for illegal activity and was thus confiscated. Despite the fact that she was owned by a criminal, she holds no loyalty to evil activities. She was mostly kept for show and because of her rare ability.

Mirage took quickly to Tori and is very obedient. She definitely enjoys how positive Tori is and she tends to follow her around when she is at home in Tori’s mansion. She’s definitely not the strongest pokemon that Tori has, but she is pretty fast and she is ridiculously smart. Some even say that she is the one that helped Tori learn to understand and “speak” to pokemon. Mirage adores Dante as well and isn’t too keen on other guys that flirt with Tori. She is determined to get Dante to confess his feelings for Tori, but so far no luck.

Mirage, although at a disadvantage against ghost and dark types, seems to enjoy befriending their types the most. She is good friends with Artemis and Hielo and doesn’t tend to spend too much time around any of Tori’s other pokemon.

Hielo the Weavile
Gender:Male

Ability: pressure
Nature:Adamant. Hielo is extremely protective of his “family” and even more protective of Mirage. He can come across as a bit of a stick in the mud to other pokemon, but if he likes you then he is more than willing to play around. However, he knows how to battle and he makes sure that he uses all his speed to his advantage. He is very clever, just like Artemis, Mirage, and Lance and he loves to utilize his knowledge to help him win. He has a bit of a temper that can make him quite dangerous and he has hurt Tori. It was a long time ago though so he and Tori made-up and now get along.
Top 5 or 6 moveset:ice shard, night slash, surf, protect, and focus blast
Tori caught this little guy while hanging around the ice path during a migration of pokemon. He was a mischievous and bright little sneasel and Tori instantly fell in love with the little dark/ice type. He never really seemed keen on evolving and he didn’t for a really long time, even when Tori told him it might help him win more battles after he suffered a crushing defeat. Hielo preferred playing by himself rather than the other pokemon and it took him a really long time to warm up to anyone. He and Tori also used to fight when he was younger and he actually ended up causing her a trip to the doctors.

Drama ensued after that and put a strain on their relationship to the point where Tori threatened to release him. Obviously the two made up though and he now protects Tori like she is part of his family. He almost always listens to her, though will sometimes lose his temper and only Mirage has been known to snap him out of it.

Eve the Serperior
Gender:female

Ability:Contrary
Nature:Jolly. Eve is a happy pokemon that tends to show affection to anyone that comes in the door. However, she, just like her master, has a limited amount of patience and won’t tolerate certain behavior. She’s very motherly to the new born pokemon and she likes to help out with more than just battling. She’s a pretty big goody-goody.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: Leaf storm, magic coat, frenzy plant, synthesis, aqua tail and dragon tail
A newer favorite of Tori’s that she tends to use in battle a lot. Eve was purchased from an outstanding breeder, and even though she was cheated out of some of her money, Tori still found this serpentine pokemon to be worth it. Eve is ridiculously fast and slippery. She’s not really keen on harming others unless them done something to harm her or others though and sometimes holds back. She’s very elegant and refined in terms of personality and she is always advising good behavior. Eve will probably adjust to defending others around her should the need arise, but for the most part, she is pretty lax.

Ambrosia the Eevee
Gender: female

Ability: adaptability
Nature:Jolly
Top 5 or 6 moveset: yawn, bite, quick attack, tackle
Another one of Siren and Zeus’ pups that Tori kept. This pup however, Tori grew too attached to. Tori intends to keep little Sam an eevee and use her in battles once she is trained more. For now she is just an adorable little guard dog that loves to be pet.

Baile the Oricorio
Gender: female

Ability: Dancer
Nature:Jolly. One of Tori's earlier pokemon, his bird is always happy and chipper. She hardly ever gets riled up and shows a massive amount of enthusiasm in just about everything she does.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: Revelation Dance, Air Cutter, Teeter Dance, Mirror Move and Hurricane
Tori received the perky bird in a trade from a trainer from a far away land. Although Tori had never trained a flying type, the two bonded quickly. Tori adores the Alola native's spirit, even though she doesn't use her often for battles. Instead, Baile offers the team support and serves as the scout when Tori is on a trip. Either way, Baile is usually with Tori whenever she is on a trip of some sort.

Lucy the Mew (Befriends)
Gender: female

Ability:synchronize
Nature: Timid. Baby, as she is affectionately referred to by Tori, is often shy around others and never appears in her true form. She will take on the form of other pokemon and even a human disguise which she and Tori have devised. She tends to appear more brave when she is in her human form and she will sometimes even approach people. She’s a very loving individual and can’t resist helping others. She is just over the top good and she loves to protect everyone she can.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: transform (no duh), Aura sphere, hypnosis, dream eater, psychic, teleport
Tori came across a group of thugs roaming around Olivine at one point, which she quickly put in place. A small ditto had been the unfortunate target of their mischief and sustained injury. Tori wasted no time in bandaging the creature's wounds and showering it with affection until she could release it. The ditto would still visit the

The mew doesn’t live with Tori all the time now and often roams over Johto to do its duty as a guardian. It will still get homesick though and visit Tori often, even help her battle sometimes. Even though she was never caught by Tori; she does wear a black and white checkered bow that Tori gave her. This bow actually has a tiny sensor that will deflect pokeballs as if she were a captured pokemon. Unfortunately it can easily be broken with extremely intense electricity.

Viera the Leafeon
Gender:female

Ability:Chlorophyll
Nature:modest. Top 5 or 6 moveset: Grasswhistle, swords dance, leaf blade, giga drain, sunny day and trying to learn x-scissor
Tori caught Viera on a trip to the Unova region. It was a certainly unexpected catch to say for sure, but Tori was more than thrilled. Tori had thought about evolving her new female eevee into a glaceon, but realized all too quickly what Viera wanted. She eventually trained Viera in the Eterna forest and let her evolve into the Verdant pokemon.

Viera will be mainly for show and contests seeing as how she isn’t really all that into fighting. Viera is very plant like in terms of how she reacts. She enjoyed taking cold showers and is definitely a bit of an oddball. She likes to occasionally help out in the battle condo (the facility where Tori works) and she loves it when Tori teaches classes. She will occasionally battle, but not all too often unless it is to help protect someone she loves.

Niyol the Glaceon
Gender:Male

Ability:Snow cloak
Nature:modest. Niyol is a very kind, gentlemanly and wise pokemon. He acts like a samurai a lot of the time and tends to practice his moves in such a manner as this. He is uber polite sometimes and takes honor very seriously. He can’t stand to lose and he sometimes thinks of himself as a disgrace.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: hail, blizzard, iron tail, water pulse and trying to learn hyper voice
Tori traded one of her challengers for this pokemon after she saw how unhappy each other was. At first, Niyol did not enjoy being under Tori’s control and was somewhat reluctant to listen to her. However, the icy pokemon soon realized that he and Tori were very similar. She eventually gained his respect and since then, Niyol has been loyal to Tori.

Serena the Milotic
Gender:female

Ability: marvel scale
Nature: Calm. Serena is a very relaxed sort of pokémon and she is very mature and gentle. She has a lot of self-confidence issues though and generally doesn’t think to highly of herself. Tori is still working with Serena over this because she thinks these thoughts are actually holding her back. Despite this though, Serena is an extremely tough pokémon to beat.
Top 5 or 6 moveset: Toxic, Hypnosis, hydro pump, Recover, Blizzard and bind
Tori actually caught Serena as a feebas in Hoenn after her battle with Pike Queen Lucy. It was a bit of a shock at first, but this pokémon really seemed to be willing to be caught. Serena took an extremely long time to evolve, due to her self-confidence issues, but when she did she found herself able to perform better. Serena is used in both frontier battles and in contests alongside Viera and does well in either. Serena is generally used as switch-up for her water type so people don’t know who she is going to pick. Serena is also very good at dodging and such.
