I really like that expression and the way you did those feathers. The atmosphere in this piece is also very powerful. Thank you so much.

This is pretty good! But I think that LittleSardines is right. I would also like to say that for the wolf, even for its style, I would see it better with a shorter body. The front paws confuse me a little with the triangular form. There should also be more fur seen on the head, and more around the ears. Try making the ears a little bigger and the background seems great but the snow should be lighter than light/dark gray. The wolf should look like it is standing more on the rock, so the back paws should go somewhere like behind a single rock. It is rocky only around the wolf, but where the wolf is standing is where it is plain.

The anatomy on the lower half of that wolf is spectacular! And the detail in the wings is very well done as well.

I'm really glad that you're placing the character in a scene, and you're not off to a bad start at that either! A couple areas I see for improvement would be just that the front legs look perhaps a bit short in comparison to the back legs, and I'm not getting the head turn out of the body position - so pulling the front front leg down a bit and dropping the shoulder might help you out there (sort of like this: [link] [link] [link] ), or perhaps giving the head more of an angle similar to that last image if referenced to make it not seem so separate from the body. Also - with the way you've done your shadows on the wolf itself, the shadow he casts on the rock beneath him would be more elongated and pushed back behind him, rather than sitting just beneath him like that. You've got some great atmospheric perspective going on in the background with the mountains fading away for sure, but perhaps for the sake of bringing the foreground forward in the scene more you could darken the parts of the mountains that fall towards the bottom of the page (behind the main rock mostly) to near black?
~ Overall I really like this piece - your line work on the wolf is very nice, and I love the blurred/non blurred snowflakes, it really makes me feel like im in a storm!

Keep it up!

Thank you so much! I've always had problem with the front legs, but I think now that I understand what I'm doing wrong!

Thanks again sensei! XD
