You seriously don't get more cliched than that. Still, it's a good one. Even if they are an unfashionable brown.

Hey man, nice job! Even if the background is "cliche," it works. Helps the color palette well. (since brown is just a dark orange of course) One critique I have, is that it looks like he is leaning. Just adjust his legs and he should be fine.

Thanks, I see what you mean about the tones there. I tend to do that, make my shading too light or dark. And I could claim that he's falling asleep, and that's why he's tilting, but nah, this was done over a quick sketch, and for some reason, most of my sketches have a tilt to them,and I wind up having to rotate them a couple degrees before I do the lineart.
