According to issue 15 of the Care Bears comic book series, Cheer Bear's care schedule for that particular day was to cheer up 2,474 people. Since this is a funny comic and all, it's obviously not meant to be taken literally, but assuming this was her normal workload, and she met with each person individually, she would only have about 35 seconds to spend with each one in a 24 hour period

Every nation or ideology isn't perfect hell not even united states is perfect. People from all around are oppressed weather its by themselves or by an army, empire, rebellion and by faith. you are never truly freed because freedom to and everyone else in the world is as if no chains are on you. you're always going to have chains and those chains will yank you to kill the blood of a thousand to a million of people, weather they are by words or by material, weather they are a soldier or not. blood like me is on yours and everyone else by a preachment of words that have burrowed in the mind of the common man.Β It is not a pride thing because without war you never learn peace without peace you never learn war, without oppression you never learn to be free, without freedom you never learn to be oppressed. Man and woman alike want to feel superior over one another no one will ever see peace because peace and total war is a lie. Only stability remains

Pride pisses you off! You know what pisses me me off? 800+ years of being told what to do by people other then our own. Then you have great people like Bobby sands, and every other blessed soul of the resistance being labeled as "terrorists" because we resist the English pigs attempts to enslave and oppress us. Countries like America call us terrorists for doing the same thing they did hundreds of years ago. The problem is its not pride. The saxons have no right to any claim on our country. Its not the english isles nor the united kingdom. Its Ireland Scotland and England. England has their own feckin country. Just because they cant let go of the glory days of the imperial tyranny does not mean they can claim northern Ireland. Granted the Irish are a proud people and we have the right to be. However that isnt why we fight. We fight to avenge the thousands who have died or been wrongly imprisoned at the hands of the english. Look up botany bay its downright despicable. Also I apologize for the conduct of my earlier comment. Its a sore and passionate subject.

Northern Ireland remains in the Union based on the agreement made between the British government and the Irish Free State under the Anglo-Irish treaty. Also the English are Anglo-Saxon, your mention of Saxons makes me think Saxons from Saxony marched into Ireland and conquered it. Being of Celtic (Welsh) decent myself I understand where you are coming from in terms of pride. But have you ever considered that maybe some (not all) people in Northern Ireland are happy with the way things are? Also why does everybody forget about Wales? They exist too!

You're wrong. Land belongs to people who occupy it peacefully. The Irish struggle against British domination, exploitation and victimization is not about Irish national pride, nor even is it about the land. It's about personal safety and survival. The illegal British Occupation of Northern Ireland, and the vacuous British attempts to legitimize it by means of blaming its victims and by means of baseless British patriotism, is not a source of Irish national pride nor of Northern Irish national pride, it's a source of British national pride. Indeed it is not merely a source of British national pride, but a source of British national wealth too. British people are proud that their brothers can march into a much smaller country and make it their own by force of arms, and force its people to work themselves to death for practically nothing, for a life with absolutely no meaning. Thereby Britain relegates Northern Irish people to the lowest class of all subject races in British society regardless of their individual merit, British justice only works against Northern Irish people whilst offering them no protection, and British prejudice justifies illegal disenfranchisement and victimization of Northern Irish people, with the full support of the law within the openly racist United Kingdom. Therefore Northern Irish people have no choice but to resist British rule, whether passively or by more robust means, not merely on humane principles, but as a matter of personal survival. There is nothing else left in life that the British people will allow to us. You should well know this already since the British have been infamously oppressing and murdering people all over the world for centuries, either by direct unscrupulously murderous violence, or indirectly by a deliberate policy of progressive disenfranchisement and neglect, all in the name of free commerce. Indeed the British obviously continue to do so today in places like Iraq and Palestine, whether directly or through their perverted colonial franchises like the United States of America and the State of Israel. On the other hand, Irish national pride has nothing to do with political boundaries or catechisms. It's about a proud shared heritage of resolute uncompromising resistance to Anglo-Saxon-style tyranny and warmongering going back a thousand years, which identifies with every people on Earth who have ever struggled for freedoms that should otherwise have been taken for granted. As any Scotsman knows.

Really? The IRA are hypocrites. They kill innocent people and expect to get six counties just like THAT and also expect to considered heroes, with parades in their (dis)honour, showered with diamonds and have gold statues built in their images.
Letterkenny Institute of Technology doesn't even have Fine Art! At this point, we don't deserve the remaining six counties and the so-called "heroes", who bombed the likes of Omagh, can have their graves pissed on. The IRA are no better than the Orange Order, both sides are WRONG!

Don't get me wrong, the English are now trying to turn a blind eye on this conflict and that just ain't right.
I can understand perfectly well for a full independent nation. All other countries occupied by the Brits got their freedom, so why not the rest of us?
The difference between the IRB and RIRA is that the former consisted of intelligent men (Eamon de Valera became Taosoiseach, he took advantage when the King of England abdicated and turn the Irish Free State into the Republic of Ireland) but the latter consisted of angry young men who attack and destroy places with bystanders like the Omagh bombing. When children are killed and families are loss, it tightens your asshole and you don't wanna say anything at all.
Unfortunately fighting by physical force and violence will get us nowhere and I had no choice but seek the education I need in Northern Ireland. Either that or staying away from home in the likes of Dublin and I don't wanna get robbed or worse in my sleep in any city.
