The bomb concealed in her backpack at least twenty-five kilos. Fastened over both her shoulders, Adrea climbed up the viney-tree with both hands and feet, with fingers and toes digging into the recesses of the bark.
She peered over the top of the the compound. Guards patrolled the ground level. Three sentry towers stood within the compound. Looking further over the wall, Adrea saw a shed with a mound of foliage that had been swept behind it.Β The branches of the tree extended over the wall, which served to obscure her from the sight of the sentries. Adrea sat on the top of the wall, unhooked her backpack and dropped it eighteen feet down the wall. It fell softly on the great mound of slimy leaves and grass.
She pressed both her hands on the wall to lever her feet on top. Looking one last time, none of the patrolling guards or the setries in the tower had spotted Adrea. She then somersaulted off the wall and landed into the same slimy leaf-mound.
She retrieved her backpack with the bomb inside and snuck about the compound. Adrea remained crouched as she moved from one blindspot to the next. The missile silo was just fifty yards from her postion.
As Adrea was about to move past a row of latrine booths, but vibrations through the earth, picked up by the powerful nerve-receptors in her feet, alerted Adrea to one of the guards approaching her position.
He into the path of her route to the silo. The girl pressed her back against a latrine-booth as the guard stood, looking in the direction of the silo. He took out a cigarette from his coat pocket. Adrea again unhooked the pack from her shoulders. She only carried a pistol. The guard was a tall, large-framed man. As skilled and agile as Adrea was, she was significantly smaller than the guard. Even trying to snap his neck from behind would prove foolhardy. She saw he carried a knife which hund from his belt. A cunning smile flashed on Adrea's face. She crept lightly on bare feet.
When she was close to the guard, Adrea gently unhooked the knife from his belt with nimble fingers. She crouched on the balls, then lauched herself on to the gaurds back before plunging the knife into the side of his neck. Adrea clamped her hand over the stunned gaurd's mouth, then stabbed him three more times. The gaurd fell backward, as Adrea dropped to the ground beside his quivering body. She stabbed the blade a last time into his heart. Adrea struggled to pull the huge guard further behind the latrines to better conceal his corpse. The small girl was engineered by the Gron to be a superhuman figher, with incredible speed and an advanced intellect. But she regretted that they did not gift her with great strength.
Adrea took the bomb to the edge of the silo. The exit-port was surrounded by a ring of concrete. Adrea avoidedΒ the moving flashlights by crawling across the concrete. Coming to the edge of the hole, Adrea noticed a ladder of steel rivets. She slid her body around to climb down to the bottom of the silo. The missle standing inert.
Unhooking her backpack once more, the girl pulled the zip back to remove the bomb.She then deftly removed a panel from the side of the missle to plug the bomb to the weapon. Adrea then activated the bob and programmed the timer for ten minutes before auto-detonation.
Soon, Adrea snuck to the front gate. Four land-vehicles stood vacant. Adrea crouched low to get close to the gatehouse. The guard inside was speaking to one of his fellows over the comm-system. Adrea had to act quickly. She drew her pistol and kicked the door open. The guard quickly looked up, but Adrea, with both hands around the gun, fired a round through his left eye. She pressed a button to open the gates. She grabbed one of the vehicle keys hanging from beside the door to commandeer one of the land-rovers.
Guards from around the compound had heard the gunshot over the comms-system. Adrea had no time. She jumped into a vehicle and drove through the slowly-opening gates.
She saw in the rear-view mirror that more guards were mounting one of the other vehicles in pursuit. But only one of them made it out of the gates before the bomb exploded. Combined with the properties of the warhead, the destruction of the compound was great enough to level the structures and to send a shockwave through the valley.
Both Adrea and her pursuent foes lost control of their vehicles, which were sent hurtling forward for many yards through the valley by the explosion's shockwave.
Adrea recovered consciousness moments laters. Drawing her gun, the human girl hotfooted it toward the jungle. She only maded it to the treeline, but was soon alerted by the cocking sound of a pistol. There stood three, dirty mercenaries, all grinning triumphantly and with hungry looks in their eyes. Adrea knew them and they had been looking for her for days.
"Put the gun down, sweetheart!" the leader, a lean, bald man, grinned wolfishly.
Sighing, the girl did as she was bid. She dropped the pistol in front of her. The three mercenaries then moved to circle her, sniggering to themselves.
"We have much to catching on to do, little girl!" the bald leader crowed. His companions laughed. One of them licked his lips at the sight of Adrea.
The girl was gazing at each man, and silently planned how she was about to kill each one of them. Adrea moved a hand to the neckline of her vast to pull it down. The mercenaries whooped and hooted excitedly. She had these fool exactly where she wanted them, thought Adrea.

Adrea is amazing, not only is she beautiful, but she won't back down from a challenge. I am looking forward to her next adventure.

Thanks! Adrea is my favorite character and her story, which I hope to continue, is really the reason I got in to 3d in the first place.
