A present for my brother's 21st.Fully handcrafted from polar fleece (for extra snuggability), felt, with custom foam inserts and embroidered details.

How on earth did you get the little buttons on? Did you like, shrink yourself and then sew them on? And the d-pad must've been ridiculous...Any tips on how I could do that?

The little buttons were handsewn, like everything else. Just mind-numbling tiny and fiddly! I cut a circle of felt for the top, and a long strip for the side, then sewed those together, then sewed them onto the controller, stuffed it using the end of my scissors to poke it in, then sewed up the hole.
The d-pad was done the same way - cut out a + of felt and a strip for the sides, and more pain. SO MUCH PAIN!
