Description And yes, this is a true story.

This was the first time eye-contact actually affected something greater than people just thinking I was weird. But it's true. Sometimes I will be talking to someone and look anywhere BUT the eyes. It's apparently common to aspies. Thus this comic was born.

I have plans to at least do a few others of these. Just because.

That's actually pretty cute.

I almost never look at people's faces. Whenever I do I always get surprised because they always end up looking differently then what I imagined.

Hope your Mom was okay. (and the cat)

They are both fine. We all laughed about this later. ...And I didn't actually drop the cat. That was added for comedic effect. ^^

When I was a kid, I had this really weird feeling that when I made eye contact with someone, it gave them the ability to see into my head and read my thoughts. I knew intellectually that they actually couldn't, but it still creeped me out and that was why I avoided eye contact.

I've had similar problems, don't worry. This is actually more common with my younger brother, but It's happened to me too.

I always hate walking down school hallways and then there's one other person walking in front of you all the way at the end..... and the whole time you just stare straight ahead like you just committed a crime.

Ahh moments. My biggest problem is I talk too loud.

Especially the mom that does cryes XD

I don't konow how to make eye contact. If i do, i can't see what other people say. There is a good way to learn to look and listen at the same time for monochnnel aspies?

I wouldn't know. I'm not mono-channel. But what I've been taught to do is to to occasionaly glance at the person's eyes, even if I'm not actually paying much attention to their face. ...This was just one of those times that I didn't remember to look at all because I was so wrapped up in the kitty. XD;;
