Prince Raoden after his transformation in Brandon Sanderson's Elantris. As soon as I'd read the first chapter, I knew I had to break out my charcoal and draw this.

For those unfamiliar with the book, here's a description of the transformation from Sanderson himself:
"The Shaod is the name for the mystical event that changes a regular person into an Elantrian. The Shaod takes only minutes, and it is irreversible. Before the Reod, the Shaod transformed a person into a glowing, quick-healing being with god-like powers. After the Reod, the Shaod instead began to change people into corpse-like creatures with blotchy skin."
