I like washes, too, but work more with watercolours and acrylics. Oil is great though.
How large is this?

OK, I must have seen "oil" somewhere else. Yes, I love being able to use washes of acrylics, they have the permanence of (dry) oils. Thanks for the size. Great portrait!
