One thing puzzles me about all the "Mario Kart" games. Why don't their karts come with seat belts?

I never actually thought about that, but now that you say it, you'd think with all the mayhem that Mario Kart is, that, that would be the first priority. LOL! I suppose nowadays that the characters do flips out of their karts now it's more chaotic, but yeah very thoughtful question!
