well these are really good concepts I must say
I do like the "black sheep" sort of motif they have withing the design, even tho is not a sheep, it;s a dog, or a wolf in that regard which would add to the concept of a wolf disguised as a sheep to steal sheep e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
however the design of each doesn't seem to change too much from first to last stage, of course I don't mean by this that you should make bipedal to make it work, not saying that, what I mean is that, instead of adding or change a few things you don't really skip away from the black fluffy dog fur and the dog belt around the neck, like a good change could be if the belt turned into a sort of dog mask to prevent it from biting but like broken perhaps since it's dark type
or maybe make the fluffy fur turn into some other type of fur that could give another impact maybe more intimidating and fierce and now and then adding a few more details like stripes or some cool looking patterns like a swirl mark on it's paws could also be a little bit better, but it's just a small nitpick however
if I would've done this, I would perhaps make the final evolution the second stand of evolution and depart from it, however, this is your idea and it's really fine, itr works and it definitely works well so good job :"D

Thanks for the critique ! I agree with you that the second stage evolution is weak in design and that the final evolution could be pushed farther, however I purposely kept the design simple to desperately avoid over designing. It would seem however that in doing this the overall design suffered. I really like your idea about the bell though...it's given me much to think about

as I said, simple is good, take Typhlosion for example, it doesn't change too much from it's first stages but still it has a through out different and more fierce design to make it look more powerful a little
so yours works the same, but a little work over doesn't hurt too much, still good designs
