Back in '13 or '14, I used to watch a series called Dendy Chronicles, a YT series that reviewed the history of the Dendy console, a Russian knockoff Famicom. When I started watching Ok Ko and Dendy appeared, I immediately thought of this series and of course not too long after I got the idea to draw this! Dendy and the mascot for the console are sitting on a Dendy I used this picture as a reference:
