OMFG I remember those fashions! Of course in those days my mom was stuck on the Pom Pom hair style. What's the pom pom hair style? Take Usagi's odango's and seriously tease them out until they look like pom poms and tie huge bows to finish them off and what do we have? Instant humiliation and about fifty million demerit points and six months worth of Saturday morning detentions for 'obstructive hairstyle'.

Count your lucky stars! I was a child of the 80's a tween in the early 90's and the mid to late 90's I was a teenager and an adult in the late 90's into the 2000's. I've seen it all.

Unfortunately I was only a toddler in the 80s...But i remember some ugly hairdo, big pastel sweather and leggings with starps at the bottom for the feet (that was weird). But other than that, my knowledge of the 80s mostly comes from movies.

Ahh the Parachute pants, yep my mom made sure I had those in every single color available. I hated them soo much! Then again I was never able to wear them as I went to schools that had a strict uniform code and parachute pants were banned under the pretense that they were too 'provocative' for young men and women to wear. I loved the big long pastel sweaters as they often times doubled as dresses for me to wear to birthday parties in early spring,late fall and winter. There were times I'd wear it as a sweater with jeans and then that night just put on tights and a nice pair of shoes, a belt at the waist,style my hair differently then the simple pony tail I wore Monday to Friday and add a touch of make up and perfume and jewelery and I was ready for my girlfriend's birthday/slumber party.
