Description Continuation of my Magic 6.3 Genderbend Series. See the first one, Martin: fav.me/dbtn6wn and the second one, Phillip: fav.me/dbtn8zl

Aaaah, MY FAVORITE CHARACTER, JIMMY!!!! The Blonde one is named Jimmy Isidore Sadler and he's basically the best thing ever and he's more than ready to tell you exactly why. Jimmy's the psychotic antagonist of the first book, the psychotic protagonist pretending to be the antagonist of the second book, and the repentant but still arguable a total psycho protagonist of the third book. He kills himself at the end of the third one, so he's not in the fourth novel, which is all the worse for his absence tbh.

As a girl, Gemini is radically different, as the way men and women show power differs greatly. For one, I think she marries the King instead of becoming his adviser, before killing him off. She also pretends to be more chaste and ditzier than her original version. The Pope, who already had beef with the dynasty that Jimmy sees over and with there being magic at all in the original book, would basically declare open war on a witch being in charge of England. This would fundamentally change the set-up of the entire franchise. So, if this were a harem anime and Martin stumbled into the situation, he'd be wandering into an England embroiled in a Holy War at it's heart. I love the idea of Gemini trying to keep her nonchalant, I'm-in-control attitude while fending off hoards of soldiers without outright and obviously killing them.

The black girl is the genderbend of Tyler, Tyra. Tyler doesn't really get developed until the third and fourth book,  ( since he spends the first book getting tortured by Jimmy off-page, oops.) but when you get to know him he really has a great sense of humor. Since he's a writer he tells all these fantastic meta-jokes and goes on these huge rants. He's also this little simmering cauldron of very justifiable anger for so many of the scenes he's in, which is a fantastic contrast to Gary's laid-back doofiness. It's also just so fun to see him and the antagonist of the third book, Todd Douglass, snark at each other.

I imagine as an anime girl Tyra would still be a writer and finicky about bathrooms, but I think she'd be way more into fanfiction and shipping. Of all of the outfits, I'm happiest with hers. It looks like it works but it also really sexy and cute. Also, if she gets cold, she can button up her trench coat! Of the original male outfits, I like Jimmy's the best, but as a girl outfit I should have slowed down more and added more flourishes to make it cuter.

Oh, here's the far superior illustration I referenced the pose and the outfits from: sta.sh/0sblizmrmy6 LOOKIT JIMMYS TINY LITTLE FEET HE"S SO SMOL AND CUTE OMNGGGG His tiny feet are also what I made Gemini a pettanko, in case you were wondering.

I finally cleaned up the haze/miasma on this one, but it destroyed the soft quality of the marker lines. Tbh I'm not sure which one looks better, the hazy ones with the soft lines or this clear one with the very rough textured lines.

Haha, I'm glad I managed to convey some of the original humor at least. In the books this sequence had me in stitches. Tyler switches and kicks the blonde in the hip afterwards, which doesn't have a forcefield, and the blonde tries to walk away all cool like but it's sort of ruined because he  limps a little from the pain since getting kicked in the hip still hurts.

It was. The best part is although the scene is funny if you think about it too long you're like 'But WHY does Jimmy have a forcefield on his sensitive area already???? Does this happen often? But isn't he like all powerful, whose trying to hit him in the nads???' and the more you think about it the weirder it seems. The author wrote a backstory into the third book explaining it and it's just so beautiful. ;^;
