This is great! You've really captured the sadness that drove him mad from when Deathwing killed off most of his flight.

I think they made him go nuts in the game just to piss people off. That or because "Hey, he happens in the area and we doubt anyone likes him... And we need one more raid boss to make this expansion complete... Let's kill him off!"
I like to pretend that never happened and he's still the loveable nut we know from the books.
