"According to profoundly ancient legend, the realm of Tecil was once ruled over by a Primal of entropy and death. The world was a barren and hideous affront to the rest of the universe, and many denizens of other planes both divine and demonic frequently tried to conquer this bastion of oblivion, but to no avail. That is, until the arrival of the Sower.

Descending upon Tecil from the eternity between worlds, the Sower's coming heralded an awakening of life from within the planet itself. So great was this sudden flood of diversity and hope that the entropic ruler of Tecil was quickly loosing its dark grip on the realm. Then, on a day that would forever shape Tecil's destiny, the blasphemous god struck out at the Sower, and engaged it in a titanic duel. Being composed of the forces that bind and power death itself, the vile deity was unable to perish, but instead was buried forever underneath an avalanche of creation unleashed by the Sower at the height of their duel.

In the wake of this battle, the world was filled with life and beauty. The Sower then left Tecil to its own devices, continuing to follow it's own unknowable agenda. Or so the legend goes..."
